Hashed CEO discusses shift toward AI agent-led organizational structures
At the ‘Nitro Track Day’ event in Seoul, Hashed CEO Kim Seo-jun outlined a fundamental shift in organizational dynamics, moving from a ‘human-in-the-loop’ model to a ‘human-on-the-loop’ system. In this new paradigm, AI agents handle practical execution and repetitive tasks, while humans transition into roles focused on designing workflows, setting objectives, and taking responsibility for outcomes.
Kim highlighted that AI is evolving from a mere problem-solving tool into an active collaborator. He shared examples of Hashed’s internal use of AI, noting that AI agents can autonomously manage tasks such as sending pull requests even while staff are offline. The company is actively seeking startup teams that can implement these agent-driven organizational structures.
Other industry leaders at the event emphasized the importance of problem-solving over technical model selection. Experts noted that as AI becomes ubiquitous, competitive advantages will shift from the ability to use AI to the ability to design unique service structures and effectively manage the integration of AI into business processes.
