Hassan Kadash ruled out of Gulf Cup 27 with injury

Saudi Arabian defender Hassan Kadash has been ruled out of the remainder of the Gulf Cup 27 following an injury sustained during the group stage match against Oman. The Saudi Arabian Football Federation announced his exclusion from the national team camp in Jeddah after medical examinations confirmed a tear in his left quadriceps muscle.

Kadash, who plays for Al-Ittihad, scored a goal during the match against Oman before being forced to leave the pitch in the 63rd minute. He will now undergo an intensive medical and rehabilitation program.

His absence comes as the Saudi national team prepares for its final group stage match against Iraq. Despite the loss of the defender, Saudi Arabia has already secured qualification for the semi-finals with six points from victories over Kuwait and Oman.
