Hassan Kouhen Moroccan-American art Hassan II Foundation Espace Rivages art exhibition

The Hassan II Foundation for Moroccans Residing Abroad is hosting an exhibition for Moroccan-American artist Hassan Kouhen at Espace Rivages. The exhibition is scheduled to run from September 17 to October 6, 2026.

Born in Fez and currently based in the United States, Kouhen is an alumnus of the School of Fine Arts in Vancouver. His work explores various cultures encountered throughout his career. The foundation stated that this initiative aims to foster artistic creation and strengthen the connection between Moroccans living abroad and their country of origin. This marks Kouhen's second presentation at Espace Rivages, following his initial showing there six years ago.
