Hassane Diarra arrives in Thessaloniki to join Iraklis BC

American guard Hassane Diarra has arrived in Thessaloniki to join the basketball club Iraklis. The 24-year-old athlete landed at Macedonia Airport on August 16, marking the fourth significant roster addition for the team within a 24-hour period, following the arrivals of Melvin, Syllas, and Hatton.

Diarra brings a notable pedigree to the team, having won back-to-back NCAA championships with UConn in 2023 and 2024. His professional experience also includes stints in Israel with Maccabi Rishon LeZion and in Lithuania with Juventus.

Upon his arrival, Diarra expressed his enthusiasm for joining the club and playing for the fans. He stated that his primary goals are to work hard, focus on the details, and improve the team day by day to achieve success under coach Zoran Lukic.
