Hasse Fröberg & Musical Companion announce live album and disbandment

Swedish progressive rock band Hasse Fröberg & Musical Companion (HFMC) has announced the release of a new live album titled ‘One Night Only – Live’, scheduled for November 27, 2026, via FREIA Music.

The album was recorded on November 2, 2024, at the Katalin venue in the band’s hometown of Uppsala, Sweden. It features nearly an hour of music, including a full performance of their latest album, ‘Eternal Snapshots’, followed by a second set of tracks from their broader repertoire.

Alongside the album announcement, the group confirmed they will be disbanding. Two farewell concerts are planned for 2027, with performances scheduled to take place in Sweden and Germany. The band, which has been active for over fifteen years, aims for the live recording to capture the unique connection between the group and their audience.
