HAT Sanremo-Sestriere 2026 motorcycle adventure event

The 18th edition of the HAT Sanremo-Sestriere, originally known as Hardalpitour, is scheduled to take place from September 4 to 6, 2026. This international adventure motorcycling event features approximately 500 participants, with roughly 60% of entrants coming from a dozen different countries.

The event offers four distinct categories: Extreme 1000, which covers about 980 km over 40 hours; Classic, a 590 km route; Discovery, designed for beginners with less off-road terrain; and the Master Challenge, an 800 km route involving navigation tests. The total course includes nearly 2,000 km of tracks derived from extensive scouting.

Organizers have emphasized sustainability through ISO 20121 certification and a reforestation project in Oulx, Val di Susa. Safety measures include GPS tracking, a dedicated Operation Room, and comprehensive medical assistance featuring fixed stations and mobile medical units.
