Hatay Metropolitan Municipality expands local services and student support

Hatay Metropolitan Municipality has implemented several new service initiatives to support local residents. Through Akademi Hatay, the municipality provided 13 days of free guidance and counseling for students during the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) preference period. These centers operated from July 29 to August 10, including weekends, to assist university candidates with their academic transitions.

Additionally, the Hatay Water and Sewerage Administration (HATSU) has launched a new system to streamline subscription processes. Residents can now complete initial subscriptions, cancellations, transfers, and petition filings at any of HATSU service buildings across 15 districts. This change removes the requirement for citizens to visit the specific district where their subscription is registered, aiming to reduce travel time and increase accessibility.
