Hatay opens Mevlana İdris Zengin student dormitory

A new girls' student dormitory named after the late poet and writer Mevlana İdris Zengin has opened in the Kırıkhan district of Hatay. The facility was constructed through the voluntary efforts and contributions of volunteers to provide accommodation for female students in the region.

The opening ceremony was attended by former Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) Speaker Mustafa Şentop, AK Party Deputy Chairman Efkan Ala, and AK Party Deputy Chairman Hüseyin Yayman. During the event, Şentop shared personal anecdotes about Zengin, noting his professional background at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and his subsequent appointment as a chief advisor to the Speaker of the Parliament.
