Hatay police recover stolen Golden Retriever

Police in the Dörtyol district of Hatay have recovered a Golden Retriever named Tomi, which was stolen by two individuals on a motorcycle. Security footage from the Özerli neighborhood captured the suspects arriving on a motorcycle, placing a leash on the dog, and fleeing the scene.

The Çetil family, who had owned the dog for two years, reported the theft to authorities after discovering the pet was missing. Following an investigation by local police, the dog was located and returned to its owners. During the incident, the suspects reportedly claimed they took the dog because they mistook it for their own pet.
