Hatay reconstruction efforts inspected by high-level delegation

A high-level delegation, including Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Strategy and Budget Directorate President İbrahim Şenel, Hatay Governor Mustafa Masatlı, and Deputy Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Ömer Bulut, conducted a comprehensive inspection of reconstruction efforts in Hatay following the earthquake.

The assessment included aerial surveys via helicopter and ground-level inspections of various sectors. Key areas of focus were residential housing, commercial workspaces, infrastructure, and reserve area projects. The delegation also reviewed progress on transportation networks, roads, and public squares to ensure the revitalization of the city’s social and economic life.

Following the field inspections, a meeting was held at the Hatay Governor's Office to coordinate efforts between different institutions. Discussions centered on project progress, delivery schedules for housing and businesses, and the identification of immediate needs on the ground. The inspection also covered historical sites and major commercial axes, such as Cumhuriyet, Fatih, and Atatürk streets, to monitor urban transformation and zoning activities.
