Hatsune Miku CHURA MIKU STREET 2026 event to be held in Okinawa

The Hatsune Miku official event, CHURA MIKU STREET 2026, is scheduled to take place in Okinawa, Japan, starting November 1, 2026. The event is designed as a city-wide excursion to promote Okinawa’s culture, food, and tourism through the virtual singer Hatsune Miku. This year’s theme focuses on the reconstruction of Shuri Castle, expanding the event’s scope into the Shuri area.

Key activities include a pop-up shop in Naha, AR photo spots located across Kokusai Dori and Shuri, and a stamp rally. Local restaurants, such as Yappari Steak and Itsu-demo Asa Gohan, will offer limited-time collaboration menus inspired by the character.

Gugenka will also release digital figures known as “Holo Models” via its X Market platform. These AR-compatible digital products allow users to display and photograph the character in real-world settings using smartphone technology.
