Hatter’s Farm named UK’s best pumpkin patch by AA

Hatter’s Farm in Essex has been named the UK’s top pumpkin patch by the AA. The ranking was determined through an analysis of 83 popular patches, evaluating criteria such as Google search volume, review ratings, social media popularity, entry prices, and whether pumpkins are grown on-site.

Scoring 66.15 out of 100, the farm secured the top position with 135,000 Google searches in October, a 4.8-star rating, and a stock of 100,000 home-grown pumpkins. The family-run business, which has roots dating back to the early 1900s, offers various seasonal activities including a maize maze, a pumpkin cannon, and Pumpkin Nights events.

In addition to pumpkin picking, the farm provides a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors of pumpkins and squash. The site features a decorated courtyard with live music and festoon lighting.
