Hauts-de-Seine offers free sports programs for youth
The Hauts-de-Seine department is relaunching its Vacan’Sports initiative, providing free athletic activities for young people aged 6 to 17 from October 19 to 30. The program expects over 5,600 participants across six departmental sites, offering 25 different activities including BMX, horseback riding, climbing, scuba diving, and archery.
Various locations will host specific disciplines: Marnes-la-Coquette will feature golf and tennis; Issy-les-Moulineaux will host fishing and cycling; Villeneuve-la-Garenne will offer scuba diving; Antony will host BMX; and Saint-Cloud will provide parkour and mountain biking. Additionally, several municipalities are contributing local facilities for activities such as boxing, judo, and urban dance.
In Mantes-la-Jolie, the Académie des Sports is also organizing a sports camp for children aged 6 to 11 during the 2026 autumn holidays. This program includes activities such as cross-training, acrosport, and futsal, aimed at promoting physical activity and accessibility to sports.
