HAVELSAN and Turkish Language Institution Sign AI‑Driven Digital Transformation Protocol

HAVELSAN and the Turkish Language Institution (TDK) signed a cooperation protocol to create a Turkish Language Information System (DİLBİS). The agreement aims to merge Turkey’s linguistic heritage with modern big‑data and artificial‑intelligence technologies, enhancing digital services, search, analysis and decision‑making for the language.

The signing ceremony in Ankara was attended by HAVELSAN General Manager Mehmet Akif Nacar, Atatürk Culture, Language and History Higher Institution President Derya Örs and TDK President Osman Mert. The project will initially use HAVELSAN’s ORION Big Data Management Platform and later integrate the domestically developed MAIN AI platform to provide secure, language‑specific AI tools.

The partnership is presented as a strategic step to boost Turkey’s national language‑technology capabilities and support the digitalisation of Turkish language use.
