HAVELSAN launches KOVAN ERP training program for defense sector

A new training initiative, the KOVAN Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Specialist Training Program, has been launched to develop qualified human resources for the defense industry. The program is a collaboration between İŞKUR, the Defense Industry Academy, HAVELSAN, and BGTS, under the National Competency Move Project led by the Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB).

Minister of Labour and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan and SSB President Haluk Görgün attended the signing ceremony at the HAVELSAN campus. The program targets university graduates aged 18 to 30, providing 420 hours of vocational training. The goal is to specialize 500 individuals in the KOVAN system by 2026.

Haluk Görgün noted that the defense industry has grown to over 100,000 employees and emphasized the importance of domestic technology. He highlighted that KOVAN, a modular software developed by HAVELSAN, is designed to meet both defense and civilian needs, ranging from human resources and accounting to logistics and project management.
