Havering expands community programs and youth services

New community initiatives are expanding for young people in the Havering area. Kaleidoscope, a grassroots organization, is hosting a creative nature workshop in Romford on April 7, 2026. Designed for individuals aged 16 to 25, the workshop aims to engage the LGBTQ+ community through a sensory and artistic exploration of nature.

Additionally, Youth Unity CIC is increasing the availability of free youth spaces across Havering, including Romford and Harold Hill. These sessions offer activities such as gaming, music, sports, and podcasting to provide welcoming environments for those aged ten and older. The organization also provides one-to-one mentoring for individuals aged 14 to 25 to assist with challenges related to education, confidence, and personal relationships.
