Havila Kystruten reports significant earnings growth in Q2 2026

Havila Kystruten reported strong operational growth and significant earnings increases for the second quarter of 2026. The company achieved a positive EBITDA of 98 million NOK, marking a 24 percent increase compared to the same period in 2025. The EBITDA margin rose to 21 percent, up from 19 percent the previous year.

Total operating revenues reached 479 million NOK, a 15 percent year-over-year increase. This growth was supported by a 10 percent rise in ticket revenue to 287 million NOK and a 32 percent surge in onboard revenue to 85 million NOK. The company also noted its first-ever positive net profit for a half-year period, totaling 3 million NOK.

Operational metrics showed significant improvement, with fleet occupancy rising to 83 percent from 74 percent in Q2 2025. Passenger nights increased by 17 percent to 99,800, and the fleet maintained 100 percent operational uptime during the quarter.
