Havza District Health Directorate promotes public health awareness

The Havza District Health Directorate held a Public Health Week event at Kevser Square to promote preventive healthcare and healthy living. The initiative focused on raising awareness about the importance of early diagnosis and the availability of free health services.

During the event, information was provided regarding nutritional counseling, psychological support, reproductive health, and pre-marital counseling. Additionally, officials offered guidance on oral and dental health, as well as cancer screening and early detection services. Dr. Merve Doğan Uygun, the Havza District Health Director, emphasized that public health is maintained not just through treating diseases, but by taking necessary precautions before illnesses emerge.
