Hawaiian Airlines partners with University of Hawai’i for jersey sponsorship

The University of Hawai’i has announced a partnership with Hawaiian Airlines, making the airline the first official jersey patch sponsor for the Rainbow Warrior football team. This move follows a recent NCAA decision allowing Division I teams to feature up to two commercial patches on uniforms starting August 1, 2026.

Under the agreement, Hawaiian Airlines will also serve as the exclusive charter airline for the football team during the 2026 season, handling all six road trips across the continental United States. The airline’s Pualani logo is scheduled to debut on national television this Saturday.

Additionally, Hawaiian Airlines is serving as the sponsor for the upcoming Hawaiian Airlines Wahine Volleyball Classic. The tournament, hosted by the University of Hawai'i women's volleyball team, will take place from August 28–30 at the Bankoh Arena at Stan Sheriff Center, featuring matchups against Georgia Southern, Baylor, and San Diego.
