Hawkridge Birds of Prey Centre faces relocation deadline in Exmouth

Hawkridge Birds of Prey Centre, a family-run institution in Exmouth, is facing a deadline to vacate its current premises by November 1. After 18 years at its present location, the organization must relocate, a process that requires securing planning permission and funding for new, purpose-built aviaries.

Run by Richard and Sharon Beech, the centre focuses on educating the public about various bird species, including owls, eagles, and vultures. To support the relocation efforts, the team has launched a GoFundMe page. Additionally, Kids Cove Exmouth will host a fundraising event on Sunday, August 30, featuring activities such as soft play and character meet-and-greets to assist with the transition.
