Hay Festival Segovia begins cultural program

The Hay Festival Segovia has officially commenced its program of cultural sessions and conversations centered on the theme of beauty. The event features a variety of intellectual discussions held at various venues, including IE University and the Palacio de Mansilla.

Key sessions included a discussion on the book ‘Lázár’ with author Nelio Biedermann and philologist Antonia Blau. Another session focused on architecture, where Laura Martínez de Guereñu and Niklas Maak explored the creative contributions of Lilly Reich and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe regarding the Barcelona Pavilion. Additionally, philosopher Peter Sloterdijk joined IE University President Santiago Iñíguez de Onzoño to discuss intellectual challenges in the 21st century, specifically addressing the tensions between technology, culture, and democracy.
