Hayato Katsuragawa returns to Japan following European Tour victory

Professional golfer Hayato Katsuragawa arrives in Aichi Prefecture to compete in the 56th BanTEIIN Tokai Classic at Miyoshi Country Club West Course. This marks his return to the domestic tour following his recent second victory on the DP World Tour at the Genesis Championship in South Korea.

Katsuragawa noted that the stress of recent competition had impacted his physical well-being, but he expressed relief after securing his playing privileges for next season. He credited his recent form to mental guidance and putting advice received from Eugenio Chacra, the coach of the current European Tour ranking leader.

The tournament features a competitive field, including Yūsaku Hosono, Yoshinori Fujimoto, and Riku Hoshino. As the season enters its final stages, the battle for the annual points ranking remains intense among the top players.
