Hayden Panettiere death ruled accidental overdose

The Greenville County Coroner’s Office has officially ruled the death of actress Hayden Panettiere an accident. Panettiere, 36, was found unresponsive in a South Carolina apartment on August 16.

An autopsy revealed that her death was caused by the toxic effects of a combination of substances, including fentanyl, 4-ANPP, alprazolam, methocarbamol, and quetiapine. Investigators found no signs of physical trauma that would suggest foul play or violence.

Panettiere, known for her roles in ‘Heroes’ and ‘Nashville’, had previously spoken publicly about her struggles with addiction and mental health. While the coroner’s report has closed the administrative case, authorities have noted the complexity of the circumstances surrounding her death.
