Hayden Panettiere posthumous campaign targets marine parks
Following the death of actress Hayden Panettiere at age 36, PETA US has released a final campaign featuring the late star to denounce the use of dolphins in marine parks. The campaign includes a video and poster where Panettiere highlights the psychological distress and loss of natural behaviors experienced by cetaceans held in captivity.
Panettiere was a long-time advocate for marine life, having previously participated in the documentary ‘The Cove’ to oppose dolphin hunting in Taiji, Japan. PETA described her as a hero for animals, noting her history of activism against the exploitation of marine mammals.
