Hayden Panettiere memorial service to be held in Malibu

A private celebration of life for actress Hayden Panettiere is scheduled for this Saturday at a church in Malibu, California. The memorial is expected to host approximately 150 guests, including family, close friends, and Hollywood colleagues. The coastal location was chosen to honor Panettiere’s passion for the ocean and marine life.

Reports indicate that Panettiere’s mother, Lesley Vogel, and her on-and-off boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, have not been invited to the service. Panettiere’s father, Skip Panettiere, is expected to attend. The decision to exclude Vogel and Hickerson reportedly stems from complicated personal relationships and past tensions.

Panettiere passed away on August 16 in Greenville, South Carolina, at the age of 36. While the official cause of death remains under investigation by the Greenville County Coroner’s Office and the DEA, some reports have alleged the death was linked to an overdose involving fentanyl-laced oxycodone. Her representatives have characterized these specific claims as unverified rumors, noting that toxicology results are still pending.
