Paramore singer Hayley Williams has defended Fontaines D.C. against online critics following the release of their fifth album, ‘Dopamine Chamber’. Writing on her Substack, Williams praised the Dublin-based band for being ‘multi-faceted and stylistically versatile’, suggesting that critics struggle to accept musical evolution.

Williams highlighted ‘Demolition’ and ‘Happy For You’ as her favorite tracks from the record. She also expressed excitement for her upcoming role as an opening act for the band at the Laneway Festival in Australia and New Zealand, as well as at Slane Castle in Meath next year.

In her musical update, Williams also shared praise for other artists, including Remi Wolf, Troye Sivan, and Tinashe, noting that the current wave of new music has made her ‘very happy’.
