Hayrat Mosque opens in Kayseri's Melikgazi district

The Melikgazi Municipality has officially opened the Hayrat Mosque in the Selçuklu neighborhood of Kayseri. The mosque was constructed with the support of 13 local philanthropists, a fact that inspired its name, ‘Hayrat’, which refers to charitable contributions.

During the opening ceremony, Melikgazi Mayor Mustafa Palancıoğlu described the structure as a boutique, minimalist, and simple mosque featuring traditional architecture. He noted that the municipality intends to continue similar investments in education, health, and religious services, including schools and Quran courses.

Local officials, including Provincial Mufti Durmuş Ayvaz and AK Party Kayseri Deputy Bayar Özsoy, attended the ceremony. They praised the project for its contribution to the community and the municipality's ongoing urban transformation and social service efforts.
