Haywire releases music video following Times Square performance shutdown

Boston hardcore punk band Haywire has released a music video for their single, “FLEX YOUR HEAD,” which features footage from a recent unsanctioned guerrilla performance in Times Square, New York City.

The impromptu set was interrupted by the New York Police Department approximately one and a half songs into the performance. Police reportedly shut down the show and confiscated the band’s equipment. The resulting video, directed by Luis Hernandez, captures the commotion of the event.

The track is part of the band’s latest album, “I DON’T WANNA SAY GOODBYE,” released through Roadrunner Records. The album was produced by Mat Kerekes and recorded in studios located in Leeds, England, and Toledo, Ohio. Haywire is currently preparing for an extensive international touring schedule spanning North America, Australia, the United Kingdom, Europe, and Germany.
