Hazebrouck: Three vehicles stolen over two nights

Three vehicles were stolen in Hazebrouck over two nights between August 26 and August 27. The thefts included a Peugeot 208 on Rue du Clocher and two Peugeot 5008 models on Rue Basse and Avenue du Maréchal Foch.

Reports indicate that the Peugeot 5008 models are being specifically targeted because their electronic security systems can be easily bypassed. In response to the recent surge in thefts, police are recommending the use of mechanical deterrents, such as steering wheel or accelerator pedal locks, to discourage thieves.
