Hazem Kayali and Badr Eddine Dyani set stage for PFL MENA semifinal in Riyadh

Jordanian fighter Hazem Kayali and Moroccan fighter Badr Eddine Dyani have increased the competitive tension ahead of their upcoming welterweight semifinal match in the PFL MENA 11 tournament. The bout is scheduled to take place on October 2 in Riyadh.

During a virtual press conference held via Zoom, both athletes expressed mutual respect while maintaining a fierce competitive drive. Dyani emphasized that his past experiences with victory and defeat have prepared him for this challenge, warning against underestimating Kayali based solely on his professional record due to his extensive amateur experience.

Kayali acknowledged Dyani’s intelligence and skill within the cage, noting that while they maintain a positive relationship outside the competition, their sole focus inside the cage will be securing a win to reach the finals. Kayali also detailed his preparations for traveling from the United States to Riyadh, including a specific program to manage jet lag and physical fatigue.
