Hazte Oír association holds conference on freedoms and Ceuta

The association Hazte Oír held a conference in Madrid titled ‘Libertades: La España que Sánchez quiere silenciar’ (Freedoms: The Spain that Sánchez wants to silence). The event addressed concerns regarding judicial independence, electoral guarantees, freedom of expression, and public security.

During the discussion, spokesperson Nouna Lozano defended the use of popular accusation as a tool against power abuses and expressed support for Judge Beatriz Biedma. Guillermo Rocafort questioned the application of the ‘Ley de Nietos’ (Grandchildren's Law), while immigration analyst Rubén Pulido called for more effective legal measures to protect the borders of Ceuta.

The association announced a follow-up conference scheduled for October 22 in Ceuta, intended to be a session ‘from Ceutans for Ceutans’ to discuss local challenges and reinforce the defense of the city.
