Hazte Oír seeks legal action to protect November 29 election guarantees
The association Hazte Oír has announced new legal actions before the Supreme Court and the Central Electoral Board (JEC) to ensure electoral guarantees for the upcoming November 29 elections. The group is seeking urgent decisions regarding the foreign census to prevent the irreversible mixing of votes before judicial resolutions are finalized.
Specifically, the association has filed an urgent procedural impulse request with the Supreme Court, asking for the separate identification and custody of vote envelopes covered by pending judicial rulings. They are also requesting the JEC to issue urgent instructions to identify affected registrations and ensure their documentation is preserved according to court decisions.
This follows recent actions by the group, including the submission of over 89,000 signatures to the JEC demanding audits and transparency. Hazte Oír stated its goal is to defend the legality of the census and ensure equality in voting rights.
