HBC Nantes targets French handball title after runner-up finish

HBC Nantes enters the new Starligue season with the primary goal of winning the French championship. After finishing as runners-up last season, the club aims to overcome previous frustrations caused by a lack of emotional mastery in decisive moments and injuries to key players.

Coach Grégory Cojean noted that while the team was successful in reaching the Champions League quarterfinals and the Coupe de France final, they failed to secure the league title. To improve performance in critical matches, the club is entering a new cycle, renewing more than 40% of its squad.
