HBO casts Sagar Radia in ‘The Trial of Louise Woodward’

HBO has cast Sagar Radia, known for the drama ‘Industry’, in the upcoming limited series ‘The Trial of Louise Woodward’. Radia will star alongside Meghann Fahy in the five-episode production.

The series is based on a true story from 1997 involving an 18-year-old British au pair accused of causing the death of an eight-month-old American baby through violent shaking. The case triggered significant international media attention during the legal proceedings.

Radia and Fahy are set to portray Deborah and Sunil Eappen, the parents of the victim, Matthew Eappen. Matthew Barry serves as the showrunner, writer, and executive producer, while Susanne Bier is slated to direct all episodes. Production is scheduled to begin this month, with a projected release in 2027.
