HBO Max adds Jean-Claude Van Damme films and Supergirl

HBO Max has expanded its library with several science fiction and action titles, including multiple films starring Jean-Claude Van Damme. Notable additions include the 1989 cyberpunk film ‘Cyborg’, directed by Albert Pyun, as well as ‘Bloodsport’ and ‘Double Impact’.

Additionally, the streaming platform is set to release ‘Supergirl’ on September 10. Directed by Craig Gillespie and part of the universe being developed by James Gunn, the film stars Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El. The story follows the character as she faces a ruthless enemy and embarks on a cosmic journey involving themes of revenge and justice. The cast also includes Jason Momoa and Matthias Schoenaerts.
