HBO Max announces new October releases including The Paper and Crystal Lake

HBO Max is releasing new content this October, including the second season of the series ‘The Paper’ and the horror prequel ‘Crystal Lake’.

‘The Paper’ is scheduled to premiere on October 29. Actor Tim Key, who plays the character Ken Davies, noted that the character remains largely unchanged despite the newsroom's recent success at the Ohio Journalism Awards. Key described Ken as a character who lives in his own world and often disrupts the routine of his colleagues.

Additionally, the A24 production ‘Crystal Lake’ is arriving on the platform. Serving as a prequel to the ‘Friday the 13th’ franchise, the series focuses on Pamela Voorhees, played by Linda Cardellini. The narrative explores the psychological transformation of a mother following a tragic accident involving her son, Jason, at a summer camp.
