HBO Max announces October premiere for ‘Estado de Fúria’ season two

The second season of the HBO Max original series ‘Estado de Fúria’ is scheduled to premiere on October 9. The new season will consist of eight episodes, each approximately 30 minutes long.

Before its streaming debut, the new episodes will be presented on September 21 at the San Sebastián Film Festival in Spain. The event will feature the cast, including Maribel Verdú, Carmen Maura, María León, Cecilia Suárez, Ana Mena, Clara Sans, Claudia Salas, and Ana Torrent, alongside co-directors Félix Sabroso and Jau Fornés.

The series, created by Félix Sabroso and produced by Producciones Mandarina, follows different women facing extreme situations within a system that turns everything into a profitable spectacle. The first season was a significant success in Spain, ranking as the most-watched series on the platform since 2021, surpassed only by ‘House of the Dragon’ and ‘The Last of Us’.
