HBO Max announces September 2026 streaming lineup

HBO Max has announced its programming lineup for September 2026, featuring a mix of biopics, superhero series, and international dramas. The month is headlined by the Michael Jackson biopic, ‘Michael’, starring Jaafar Jackson, which is scheduled to premiere on September 25.

Other major highlights include new episodes of the DC series ‘Lanterns’ and the Max Original ‘Stuart Fails to Save the Universe’. The streaming service will also debut the second season of ‘The Paper’ on September 9 and the Korean drama ‘The Ordinary Jackpot’ on September 10.

In addition to scripted series, the lineup includes films such as ‘Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires’ and ‘Reminders of Him’, alongside various reality and lifestyle programming. To coincide with the 78th Emmy Awards on September 14, the platform will also spotlight several nominated series.
