HBO Max expands catalog with new film releases

HBO Max has added a slate of recent movies to its streaming library. In addition, HBO Max introduced seven newly released films from various markets: the Indonesian thriller *The Hidden Guest* (2026), the French mystery *A Private Life* (2025) starring Jodie Foster, the American western‑horror *Lawless Land* (2023) with Sydney Sweeney, the supernatural thriller *Black Phone* (2025) starring Ethan Hawke, and the horror sequel *Five Nights at Freddy’s* (2025) featuring Josh Hutcherson, among others. These additions broaden the service’s international and genre offerings.
