HBO Max highlights new series, films, and sports programming

HBO Max is updating its streaming catalog with a variety of new films, series, and sporting events for the upcoming weeks in August.

Featured entertainment includes the continued saga of "House of the Dragon," focusing on the Targaryen family conflict, and "Stuart Saves His Universe." Film highlights include "Mortal Kombat 2" and "Vida Privada."

In addition to scripted content, the platform will broadcast several sporting events, such as the European Athletics Championships, the FedEx St. Jude Championship in golf, and the London e-Prix for the Formula E World Championship.
