HBO releases ‘War’, a legal drama centered on a high-stakes London divorce

HBO has released its new legal drama series, ‘War’, created by George Kay. The anthology series follows the high-stakes divorce between tech mogul Morgan Henderson, played by Dominic West, and international actress Carla Duval, played by Sienna Miller.

The plot centers on the intense rivalry between two London law firms: the established Cathcarts & Sons, representing Henderson, and the younger, contemporary Taylor & Byrne, representing Duval. The series explores the aggressive tactics, manipulations, and professional consequences faced by the lawyers involved, including ambitious newcomer Johnny Warren.

Season one consists of eight episodes, with the premiere occurring on October 1, 2026. Production for a second season has already commenced, which is expected to focus on a defamation lawsuit featuring Marisa Tomei.
