HBO Max releases Crystal Lake series based on Friday the 13th

HBO Max has launched 'Crystal Lake', a new series based on the 'Friday the 13th' horror franchise. The eight-episode series is aimed at fans of the gore genre, featuring the characteristic violence associated with the original saga.

Viewers have noted a high frequency of advertising interruptions within the episodes, with approximately eight commercial breaks per chapter. These interruptions affect the narrative rhythm unless users maintain a premium subscription to avoid promotional content.
