HBO Max renews The Big Bang Theory spinoff for season 2

HBO Max has renewed the The Big Bang Theory spinoff, ‘Stuart Fails to Save the Universe’, for a second season. The network reported that the series achieved one of its largest global comedy debuts ever.

Created by Chuck Lorre, Zak Penn, and Bill Prady, the science-fiction comedy follows Stuart Bloom, played by Kevin Sussman, after he accidentally damages a device built by Sheldon and Leonard. The incident plunges Stuart into a multiverse, forcing him to navigate alternate realities alongside characters such as Denise (Lauren Lapkus), Bert (Brian Posehn), and Barry Kripke (John Ross Bowie).

Channing Dungey, chairman and CEO of Warner Bros. Television Group, noted that the series offers an original take on the franchise that has been embraced passionately by audiences.
