HBO Max unveils trailer for comedy series ‘Stuart Can’t Save the Universe’
HBO Max released the official trailer for its new Max Original comedy ‘Stuart Can’t Save the Universe’. The ten‑episode series, created by Chuck Lorre, Zak Penn and Bill Prady, premieres in late July – on July 23 in Brazil and July 24 elsewhere – with new episodes debuting weekly.
The show follows comic‑book store owner Stuart Bloom (Kevin Sussman) who accidentally triggers a multiversal apocalypse after breaking a device built by Sheldon and Leonard. He teams up with his girlfriend Denise (Lauren Lapkus), geologist Bert (Brian Posehn) and quantum‑physicist Barry Kripke (John Ross Bowie) to restore reality, encountering alternate versions of characters from The Big Bang Theory.
Stuart’s cast also includes returns from the original sitcom, and the series blends absurd sci‑fi scenarios with the humor that defined its predecessor.
