Actor Dexter Sol Ansell announced on Instagram that filming for HBO’s second season of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms has wrapped. Production, which faced delays after torrential rain flooded locations in Gran Canaria, Spain, resumed and completed principal photography in Spain and Belfast, Northern Ireland. The series is slated to premiere in early to mid‑2027. Showrunner Ira Parker confirmed the schedule remains on track, while author George R. R. Martin posted a supportive blog entry praising the adaptation. The first season earned nine Emmy nominations, underscoring the show’s strong reception.
