HC Bozen signs Canadian goalie Louis Domingue for 2026‑27 season
HC Bozen (HCB Südtirol Alperia) announced an agreement to sign Canadian goaltender Louis Domingue for the 2026‑27 campaign. The 34‑year‑old nets veteran brings 14 years of professional experience, including 151 NHL appearances and 246 AHL games. Domingue most recently played in the KHL for Sibir Novosibirsk before returning to North America to join the Florida Panthers organization, appearing in 14 games for their AHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers.
Domingue said, “From the first moment I felt this club is built on passion, tradition and the will to win. My family and I know Bozen is the place we want to be.” The signing completes the club’s roster construction, with the announcement of the new coaching staff expected in the coming days.
The move is described as a major transfer coup for the Bolzano‑based team, aiming to strengthen its goaltending for a title‑contending season.
