HC Bozen signs goalkeeper Lorenzo Marinelli

HC Bozen has signed goalkeeper Lorenzo Marinelli to bolster its roster. The 25-year-old, a native of Meran, joins the team as a third-choice goalie to provide depth following injuries to Louis Domingue. Marinelli previously played for the Academy Bozen and Meran, and has experience in the ICE Hockey League with Varese, Aosta, and Brixen.

The signing provides HC Bozen with more flexibility regarding roster spots, potentially allowing the club to recruit an additional foreign defender. In the immediate term, Marinelli may be called upon for the upcoming Brenner Derby against HC Innsbruck if Domingue remains unavailable.

Meanwhile, the 13th round of the win2day ICE Hockey League features several key matchups. High-profile games include the Vienna Capitals facing Steinbach Black Wings Linz and the Graz99ers hosting Milano Hockey Club. Additionally, EC Red Bull Salzburg will play its first game under new coach Teemu Levijoki against Olimpija Ljubljana.
