HC Hard hosts ALPLA Sommercup with THW Kiel, TBV Lemgo Lippe and HC Kriens-Luzern

The ALPLA Sommercup handball tournament takes place on 7‑8 August 2026 at the Harder Teufelsarena in Hard, Austria. Host club HC Hard faces top European teams – German record‑champion THW Kiel, Bundesliga side TBV Lemgo Lippe and Swiss champion HC Kriens‑Luzern – in a knockout format. The opening match pits Lemgo Lippe against Kriens‑Luzern, followed by Hard versus Kiel; winners compete for the title on Saturday while losers play for third place.

The event features several national‑team stars, including THW Kiel goalkeeper Andreas Wolff, captain Domagoj Duvnjak, and Nikola Bilyk, who recently moved from Kiel to Luzern. Austrian players such as Lukas Herburger and former Hard goalkeeper Constantin Möstl also appear.
