HC Škoda Plzeň defeats České Budějovice 4-1 led by Carter Robertson

HC Škoda Plzeň defeated Banes Motor České Budějovice 4-1 in an Extraliga match, driven largely by the performance of Canadian defenseman Carter Robertson. Robertson recorded two goals and one assist, becoming the most productive defenseman in the league with nine points in nine games.

A critical turning point occurred at the end of the second period. After České Budějovice equalized during a power play, Plzeň responded immediately, scoring two goals before the intermission. Robertson’s goal at the 39:57 mark proved decisive in shifting the momentum.

České Budějovice relied on goaltender Matyáš Mařík, who was making his first Extraliga appearance of the season due to injuries within the team's rotation. Despite Mařík's efforts, Plzeň secured the victory with a final power-play goal by Schleiss in the third period.
