Central European hockey leagues see record wins and shutouts

Various ice hockey leagues across Central Europe reported significant match results. In the Czech Extraliga, HC Oceláři Třinec set a new record by winning all eight of their opening matches, highlighted by a dominant 9:0 victory over HC Olomouc. Mountfield HK Hradec Králové secured their third consecutive win by overcoming a 0:2 deficit to defeat Vítkovice 3:2 in overtime. Meanwhile, Pardubice defeated Sparta 6:4 in a high-scoring matchup.

In the Slovak Tipsport Liga, HC Košice defeated Dukla Michalovce 6:3, while HK Nitra secured a 2:1 overtime win against HKM Zvolen to end a losing streak. In the Slovenian ICEHL, Olimpija Ljubljana achieved their first shutout of the season with an 8:0 victory over Pioneers Vorarlberg.

Lower-tier regional football matches also saw notable outcomes, including Neratovice's 2:0 win over Teplice reserves in the Czech fourth division and Kameničky maintaining their lead in the ninth regional league.
